About Felice’s Place
Our founder Felice Marandola, born and raised in Springvale, Victoria, discovered his passion for butchery at a young age. After completing his apprenticeship at the renowned University Meats in Hawthorn, Felice launched his first business in Elwood in 2003. Since then, he’s built a strong reputation for producing premium, handcrafted products and has expanded into wholesale supply across Melbourne.
Felice follows the traditional craft of seam butchery, breaking down meat along natural muscle lines. This method enhances flavour, ensures even cooking, and significantly reduces waste — resulting in more premium grilling cuts and less stewing meat.
At Felice’s Place, our method is simple: grass-fed, free-range, and chemical-free meat, prepared the traditional way. We’re a small, family-run business with over 30 years of experience in delivering quality meat products that are both ethical and delicious.
